de groupe, en Amérique du Nord et en Europe.
1990-1998 : Bijoux-outils
Entre instrument et ornement, le bijou-outil fonctionne
aussi bien au niveau mécanique que métaphorique.
Il est présenté dans un “ sachet-collage ”
ou un “ sachet-manuscrit ” qui raconte
sa mythologie et en donne le mode d’emploi tel un outil,
mais avec une tournure poétique. Critique et ludique,
le bijou-outil requière la participation du porteur
et engage la communication avec le spectateur.
(Un petit livre intitulé “Histoires de Bijoux-outils”
est disponible en édition limitée de 80 copies,
signées et numérotées, présentant
15 pièces, toutes accompagnées d’une histoire
écrite en français par Anne Fauteux.)
1999- … : Bureau des objets lyriques migrateurs
(BOLM)
Les projets du BOLM remettent en question l’accessibilité
et la consommation des objets culturels ainsi que nos valeurs
d'échange.
Dans cette entreprise, les projets sont élaborés
à partir de leur méthode de diffusion. Pour
chaque nouveau projet (événement ou collection),
un nouveau système de relations publiques et de mise
en circulation d’objets lyriques migrateurs (OLM) est
développé, dictant le format même de ces
OLM. Entre bijoux, accessoires, jouets et outils, les OLM
sont toujours portables et interactifs. Ils proposent un regard
ludique sur nos désirs, nos besoins et notre aliénation
en tant qu' êtres urbains.
